One auto theft case of January solved by Calangute ps….
That on 28/01/2025 at 18.20 hrs registered, upon the complaint of Mr Dayanand Hiremath s/o Prakash Hiremath r/o Near Tondihal building, Vidhyanagar, Muddebihal, Bijapur, Karnataka to the effect that in between 23/01/2025 at 20.40 hrs to 23/01/2025 at 10.00 hrs in open parking place at Baga Calangute, Bardez, Goa committed theft of car bearing Reg No. KA-22-MC-6241 by three unknown accused person, which belong’s to the complainant friend namely Mr Channa Basappa Waggara r/o Bijapur, Karnataka. In this connection Calangute ps crime no 22/25 u/s 303 r/w 3[5] BNSS dated 28/01/2025 stands registered
It is submitted that today 17/05/2025, after hectic efforts the information was gathered and ASI Satish Sawant, PC 7181 Basuraj Hadfad, PC 7600 Suraj Fondekar and PC 7408 Adarsh Nagekar with the assistance of Complainant and Shapur police station, Belgaum, Karnataka, the accused persons namely 1. Maruti S/o Suresh Jantikatti, age 26 years r/o Ward No. 14, Malaprabha Nagar, Vadgaon, VTC Belgaum, Hukeri, Belguem, Karnataka, 2. Kishore Dharmendra Rangarej, age 28 years r/o H.No. 439, Teggin Galli, Vadagaon, Belguem, Karnataka and 3. Abdul Aziz s/o Shahabuddin Majawar, age 26 years r/o Ward No. 14, Malaprabha Nagar, Vadgaon, VTC Belgaum, Hukeri, Belguem, Karnataka and involved car bearing Reg No. KA-22-MC-6241 in present case was traced at Belguem, Karnataka. The all the above mentioned accused persons has been arrested in present crime.
Further investigation is in progress with ASI Shri. Satish Sawant, under supervision of PI Calangute Shri Paresh Naik and under overall supervision on SDPO Porvorim Shri. Vishwesh Kharpe, GPS and SP North Shri Rahul Gupta, IPS.
