Panaji :- On 08.08.2025, an offence was registered under Crime No. 107/2025 u/sec 115(2), 118(2), 351, 352 r/w section 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 at Panaji Police Station following the complaint lodged by Mr. Syed Mujahed, a resident of Telangana State, who had rented a scooter from the accused Amit @ Atmaram Walke. When the complainant and his wife attempted to return the motorcycle, the accused Amit @ Atmaram Walke, along with his wife Ashi Walke and Kishan Hosmani, demanded an additional sum of Rs. 200/-. The complainant’s refusal to acquiesce to this extra charge, precipitated a physical altercation between the complainant couple and all the 03 accused. During this incident, the accused Amit @ Atmaram Walke assaulted the complainant with a golden kada on his head, while all three accused verbally abused and threatened the complainant couple. The accused Amit @ Atmaram Walke and Kishan Hosmani have subsequently been arrested in connection with the aforementioned crime and lady accused has been issued notice as per provision of section 35(3) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita.
