Cangute :- on 08.06.2025 at around 20:30hrs complainant A appeared at this Police Station and reported that his two minor daughters age-15years and age-13years left residence on 07.06.2025 and did not returned back and was found missing subsequently another complainant B who is residing in the rented room of above person reported that her minor daughter age-11 years is missing from 07.06.2025 and she suspected that her daughter might have gone with daughters of complainant A.
Upon the receipt of the information immediately a team was formed consisting of PSI Rushikesh Raikar, PC-8027 Raju Attar, LPC-8610 Suvarna Narve. Further after meticulous efforts and after developing the information through reliable human sources and technical sources, all three minor victim girls were rescued from a Hotel in Calangute on 08/06/2025 and also two male were apprehended who were present with them and brought at Police Station. During enquiry at hotel it is revealed that both the accused person have checked in to two different hotel room.
Further, all the three victim girls were referred before Victim Assistance Unit, Bambolim to record their statement and through the statement of the victims it was revealed that two victim girls sexually abused in Hotel rooms. Accordingly two offense were registered vide Agacaim PS Cr.No. 30/2025 U/sec 137 (2), 64(1), 74, 75(1) BNS & sec 8 (2) of Goa Children’s Act 2005 & Sec 4, 8,12 POCSO Act and vide Agacaim PS Cr. No. 31/2025, U/sec 137(2), 64(1), 74 BNS & sec 8(2) of Goa Children’s Act 2005 & Sec 4, 8,12 POCSO Act.
During the course of investigation accused persons 1) Altaf S/o Mehboob Mujawar, age-19yrs R/o 1830 NR, Near Britana House, Penha, De France, Alto Porvorim Bardez Goa N/o Hubli Karnataka 2) Om S/o Vinay Naik , age-21yrs R/o CFF69 Housing Board Colony, Porvorim, Penha De France, Alto Porvorim Bardez Goa were placed under arrest in present crime.
