Goa Congress state president to be replaced

Pamjim :- The official press note released by the Congress party has given more strength to the factions to change the Goa state president. According to sources, complaints against the Gautha Congress state president were reaching Delhi for the last two years. However, the source believes that he was able to retain the post because the leadership in Karnataka favored him.

However, in the official press note released by the Congress on social media yesterday, it was clarified that there was no dispute between party inspector Manikrao Thackeray and state president Amit Patkar. It was also claimed that the entire party is working together to strengthen the Congress under the leadership of Amit Patkar. However, this note has given more impetus to the discussions of changing the state president.

According to sources, many senior leaders in the Congress are unhappy with Amit Patkar. There are allegations that factionalism has increased in the party during his tenure, which has directly weakened the organization at the booth level. The party leaders are in a dilemma as the A19 Sanghat Majban is needed to ensure that the Congress does not suffer in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.

It is understood that the decision to change the state president is in the final stages, but there is no clarity yet on who the new state president will be. It is being speculated that a senior Congress leader will be given this post. Also, two young leaders are said to be in the race.

It is likely that the Congress party will announce a new state president in the coming days. Due to this, there are signs of a big change in the leadership of Goa Congress.
