Compensation Distributed to Sodiem Farmers Affected by Tillari Canal Water Flow
Siolim : Farmers of Sodiem affected by the water flow from the Tillari Canal received compensation today at the Marna-Siolim MLA office. The financial aid aims to help them recover from the damages caused by the canal overflow.
Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo expressed her gratitude to Hon. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and the Minister of Water Resources Department, Shri Subhash Shirodkar, for their prompt support in ensuring relief for the affected farmers.
The compensation distribution took place in the presence of the Sarpanch and Panch Members of Village Panchayat Sodiem-Siolim, reaffirming the government’s commitment to assisting local farmers in times of need.
