AAP Demands Independent Investigation into Suleman Siddiqui’s Allegations

Panaji : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa has demanded an independent investigation into the serious allegations made by Suleman Siddiqui, who claimed that his second video statement was recorded under duress—at gunpoint and under electrocution.

AAP Goa has called for the immediate suspension of SP Crime Rahul Gupta and DySP Suraj Halarnkar, who were named by Siddiqui in his statement. The party has urged the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Goa Police to take swift action against the officers involved and to make public the findings of the inquiry into Siddiqui’s escape.

Siddiqui has reaffirmed that his initial video statement was truthful, raising further doubts about the conduct of the Goa Police. Given the gravity of the allegations and the apparent influence of the BJP-led government, AAP Goa has demanded that the land grab scam be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for an impartial probe.

AAP Goa emphasized that truth can be suppressed temporarily but cannot be buried forever. The party has vowed to continue its fight for justice and transparency, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.
